Here comes the Outlook Contacts. In this post I am going to show the step by step procedure on how to Transfer or Copy your Outlook Contacts to an iPhone.
There could be lot of ways to transfer the Contacts to an iPhone from Outlook. However, I am going to show you the method which I feel is convenient and easy to transfer the Contacts to your iPhone:
Download, Install iCloud on your Computer and then Sync your Contacts with iCloud:
- Save the file on the desktop or let it get saved on your default download location (Downloads folder)
- Now, install iCloud on your Computer.
- Once you have successfully installed iCloud, it’ll prompt you to restart your Computer.
- After restarting your Computer, run the iCloud application from your Desktop and Signin with your Apple ID as shown in the below picture:
- As soon as you signin you’ll get Couple of options which you can directly Sync with your iCloud as shown in the below picture:
- Now, you need to select Mail, Contacts, Calendar and Tasks option and then click on Apply.
- As soon as you click on Apply, it’ll take a while to transfer your Contacts to iCloud. Once the Contacts are Synced from Outlook to iCloud then the contacts from iCloud will get Synced on your iPhone.
Note: In order to get the Contacts synced with your iPhone, you’ll to need to configure your iPhone with the same Apple ID which you have used to Sync the Contacts from your Outlook.
